Chris and Theresa Shaw operate Shiloh Valley Family Farm with the help of their children, raising pastured pigs, goats, and chickens and small market gardens. They use rotational grazing of the different animal types to provide nutrition to the animals, but also to manage weeds and limit soil erosion. The Shaws also discuss managing water, the diversity of wildlife attracted to Prairie Dog Creek on their property, and why they have chosen to focus their production on these pigs and goats.
